Racing 2007-08 Aaron Leech, driving car 60, winner of the 50 Lap Class D Race on October 27th, 2007 at Hampton Coliseum.
"Aaron Leach started on the pole and led all the way to pick up
the win in the 50-lap D Main, an all-rookie affair. Sparky West moved
into second place in the early going and tailed Leach to the finish.
As might be expected with a starting field populated by newcomers,
the event was caution-filled as the yellow flag flew seven times.
Leach survived a late-race restart, quickly opening a two-length
advantage as the field went under green for the final time with two laps
left. Over the closing circuits, West narrowed the gap, but came up a
car-length short at the checkers.
Brittany Bangas was third to the stripe, followed by Chris Roberts
and Jacques Ward."
